What is tele-coaching?

Parachute provides tele-coaching to individuals throughout the United States and around the world on a case-by-case basis. The great advantage of tele-coaching is that it can be individually focused to meet the needs of the person in transition. When individuals are in transition they might need help completing their resume, preparing an important cover letter and or getting prepared for a specific interview.

Tele-coaching is included as part of the Parachute Job Pak Plus and Power Pak programs. It is scheduled to meet the needs and at the times that are convenient for the person in transition. Since this service is delivered over the phone it can be used with the added convenience of being at home or on the road.

Parachute career counselors who provide the tele-coaching are very experienced counselors throughout the United States. We will work with you to find the right person to support you in your transition.

How do I place an order?

What is the resume submission process involving online job-sites?

Parachute's online resume posting service allows each of our clients to post their resume to more than 100 top career sites in a matter of minutes. Each user will be asked to fill out an application with pertinent job-searching information that should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Upon completing your application you'll enjoy the following benefits of your resume posting service:

  • Web Based Email Service: As part of your resume promotion services, you will receive a free web-based email account used in promoting your resume. This keeps your job related email in one place and out of your primary email box. Features include 24x7 web access and the ability to read, write, reply, delete and organize email messages. The service also has an online calendar for scheduling interviews and a simple address book to store job opportunity contacts.

  • Email Forwarding Services: In addition to Job-Mail, you have the option of forwarding your job related email to any personal email address you like. You can change where you forward your email to at any time or turn forwarding off altogether, the choice is yours.

  • Spam Filtering: We take many precautions to prevent you from receiving unwanted email that may result from distributing your resume on the Internet. We employ various industry-standard and custom techniques to filter offending mail.

  • Resume Posting Report: Your Real-Time Posting Report lists the sites where your resume was posted, along with links to easily login to each site. You can come back often to visit each site and use their free job search tools & resources.

  • Modifying Your Resume: Once you have completed the order process you can only modify posted information by visiting each career site separately. It's fairly easy to do using the Real-Time Posting Report.

  • Job Matches By Email: You'll be set up with Job Agents on selected career sites. Job Agents search for job openings matching your criteria and then email you Job Alerts when matches are found. We set up your Job Agents to search on your desired job title(s) and geographic location. What does the 'order' through 'delivery' process consist of?

Place an order by filling out the Corporate Order Form. Once your order has been submitted, you will be contacted by a Parachute representative to confirm the details of your order and to learn a bit more about the employee(s) who are to be laid off. This will provide our career counselors with a bit of background information before contacting each employee such as what was the last job title the employee held at the company and did the employee expect the termination / layoff to occur. We will then ship the ordered Parachute Paks either to the company representative or directly to the employees (whichever option you prefer). Each Parachute Pak will contain a step-by-step guide to using each of Parachute's online resources as well as physical materials in the Pak. If your order came with tele-coaching hours, each employee will be contacted by one of Parachute's career counselors to schedule a coaching session.
